This is a pair of rubber inserts for the steering column of the 70 Series Toyota Landcruiser. This is designed to fill the open hole on the side of the steering column. This does NOT make the steering column waterproof. It is simply to visually give the column a finished look. This design does not require any tools or disassembly of any components. Just slide the boot over the end of the blinker/wiper column and snap it into the hole. This is a very snug fit so you will need to wiggle it into place a bit to properly seat into the groove. If for some reason you need to remove the insert do NOT grab the lip and try to pull it out. The fit is too tight and you risk tearing the lip of the boot. You need to squeeze the boot from both sides to unseat it from the lip and then gently pry it out.
